Fine Photography and Camera Instruction
I was fortunate to be born into a commercial artist family. My father's and brother's abilities to draw, paint, sculpt and create provided a natural environment for me to learn and create. (More of my brother's work) I have some graphic talent but the camera became my hands. I spent hours in the darkroom printing black and white as well as colour prints. I have done all manner of photo gigs from archival and museum work to weddings, portraits, legal work for court cases, and operation room and medical photography. My photo and graphic work can be seen in the book London's Darkest Hours, published in 1999.
At this point, I am focusing on studio work. Which means, I will photograph fine works of art for insurance purposes or print reproduction as well as commercial products for marketing. I will also take architectural or location photographs as well as animal / livestock photos on site.
I deliver workshops and one-on-one assistance on how to buy a digital camera and how to use a digital camera. Along with how to use the camera I can show you how to retouch photographs in PhotoShop, or manipulate and upload your photos with Picassa.
A few photos are posted below so you can see some of the work I have done.
