Corniglia 2017: It took 6 months to complete this painting from initial creation thoughts to finally snipping the nails small enough to hammer the parts together. It was a fun process figuring out how to make it sort of 3 dimensional. It is made of birch plywood, balsa wood, wire and veneer. It is my first painting, others are now rolling around in my head. I am partial to Italy so I know Italy will be the inspiration for my next creations!

Corniglia measures 24" by 36".  It is the view from the third floor window of Da Cecio, in Corniglia, in the Cinque Terre.
