Mothers, by Val Morrison

In June of 1973, Val Morrison was the entertainment at Sir Adam Beck's Annual GAA Dinner. This was the first year that mothers were invited to attend the event. The focus that evening was about the relationships between mothers and daughters.

Val wrote the "Mothers" song below as part of her entertainment package and presented it that evening.

I am posting it today in honour of Mother's Day. I hope you don't mind Val, but it is a great song and hasn't been heard for 45 years.  Those Beck Spartans who were at the banquet might remember it!
