Parkwood Download

Hi Lisa, Joe and IT Department

I have uploaded the two Access database files which make up the Parkwood CTO Database
  1. CTO Database.accdb
    1. This is the front end of the database which contains all the forms, queries, and macros
  2. CTO_be.accdb
    1. This is the back end of the database which stores the data

Steps:

  1. You must have a folder on your network drive that all people who are going to use this database need access; a common drive
  2. Make a folder called: CTO
  3. Download the two files from this page and copy them in to the CTO folder.

When I see you on Tuesday I will
  1. Connect the tables in the two files
  2. Copy the CTO Database.accdb on to the desktop, or into a folder on each single user's computer.  (This is necessary as the database is set up for multiuser. Everyone shares the CTO_be.accdb file, but each user must have their own front end copy of CTO Database.accdb.
  3. Next I will test the connections
  4. Show you how to use it.
