In the picture I am showing you here, he is not blessing anyone so it is not one of these types of images, but it reminds me of one. On our trip, this image is the closest you got to seeing one.
You learned this iconography word in Mary's iconography classes.

This fountain has suffered a great deal of damage during the centuries. It was used as a washbasin for laundry at the end of the 16th century. It was vandalized on January 25, 1580. A satyr was stolen during the carnival in 1830. It was damaged again by the Bourbon bombardments of 1848. Consequently, it has been the object of several restorations and substitutions. In 2005 the right-hand of the sea god was cut off.
The
fountain is in
Florence
, situated on the

Like a dream!
Please sir, I want more!
We are not going home until we eat our own weight in pizza!
In this next scenario, we are climbing the steps of the Duomo with the million other tourists who stood in line for an hour. The answer to the next question is going to be hard because you don't really know anything about the guy who is the answer to this question. I keep dropping his name in these quizzes and you are probably thinking I am making up the name? Although he wasn't such a great or well-known artist, he was an important guy. He painted a lot, he worked with the Medici family, he designed the enclosed walkway of Ponte Vecchio. He wrote an important history of the artists, which isn't always correct, but I still would be happy if you would buy me a copy!
18. Who painted the ceiling of the the dome?
*
Botticelli
Vasari
Arezzo
Giotto
19. Who has the worst hair?
*
