Why does this page exist?

A friend was reviewing my web pages for me to provide constructive criticism... and said jokingly, "Where is the touchy feely section?"  So, I made this touchy feely page. But since then, I have decided that maybe this page will give you a little insight, so you know a bit more about me before you choose to hire me to help you with your technical needs.  
And seriously... doesn't every web site need a touch-feely section?? *S*
